Wakool is a magnetic vortex to push rain away. Weather maps would say the rain is coming, and out at Wakool, you can sit back with a cold beverage and watch the storm travel right around Wakool.

If it does happen to rain, camera angles may be in diffrent than standard, but the Bowls Broadcast will do the best we can to provide coverage of the event.

The Bowls Broadcast will head for Wakool on Friday afternoon for the Northern District Playing Area Men’s State Triples 2025-26 at Wakool Bowling Club, New South Wales, Australia. Michael Laursen, David Potter and Ian Main Vs Graham Rowland, Rod Chalmers, and Greg Lodge.

Just a heads-up about the broadcast scheduled for Wakool on Wednesday. KJ doesn’t quite trust the BOM, and I have learnt that Wakool has a magnet that repels rain (you can literally see the storm go around Wakool). Wakool has a rain forecast. I doubt it will happen. KJ is a little precious with her cameras and rain/water, so regular camera angles may not be available.
